Vintage Property Group's Sustainability Initiatives
Vintage Property Group works closely with Councils and environmental authorities as well as the project architects and project manager throughout the design development and construction phase. This allows VPG to develop sustainable design outcomes that maximise energy efficiently and minimise any potential impacts on the local environment.
VPG is continually researching and identifying emerging sustainability trends and technologies and aims to incorporate as many as possible in the design of their developments.
The following Ecologically Sustainable Development (ESD) initiatives are implemented in all VPG developments:
- Dual aspect design so that effective natural ventilation and light is achieved to all living areas and bedrooms
- Water efficient tap ware, toilets, showers, and dishwashers
- Energy efficient lighting and appliances
- Access to natural gas
- Permanently covered outdoor areas
- Waste separation: common waste collection facilities for collecting recyclables as well as general refuse
- Rainwater Storage Tanks
- Specific choice of natural materials and landscaping selected to minimise operational and maintenance costs
